ICUMSA 45 Sugar is a refined white sugar of plant origin, obtained from sugarcane.

Produced through rigorous purification and refining processes, it undergoes clarification, crystallization, centrifugation, and drying, resulting in a product of high purity and characteristic brightness.

It comes in the form of solid, uniform white crystals, with a high sucrose content and low color index, making it widely used in the food industry and in applications that require international quality standards.​


Polarization: minimum 99.8%.
Ash: maximum 0.4% (dry basis), determined by electrical conductivity.
Ash content: maximum 0.8%.
Moisture: maximum 0.4%.
ICUMSA grade: 45 RBU maximum (S.G.S. Scale Brazil).
Solubility: 100% dry and loose.
Color: bright white.
Attenuation index: ICUMSA method no. 4-1978.
Radiation in CS-137: 50 BQ per kg.
Grain size: refined sugar.
Harvest: fresh.
Magnetic limits: up to 4 mg/kg; up to 20 mg/kg.

VHP 600-1200

VHP Raw Sugar is of plant origin, composed mainly of the natural sucrose extracted from sugarcane.

It is obtained directly from sugar mills after juice clarification through physical-chemical treatments, followed by evaporation, crystallization, centrifugation, and drying.

It comes in the form of solid, uniform brown crystals.

VHP sugar was developed in 1993 by Brazilian sugar industry scientists and is now the most exported raw sugar in the world.

Due to its high sucrose content, VHP is easier and faster to refine for the production of other types of sugar.
